Hi folks,

Am well gutted tonight, just found out we have been robbed!  the thieving so n so’s stole our pump, pool hoover and chemicals.
which incidently were locked away and we have a guy go round to check the house and sort the pool while we’re in the uk.
Any one got any ideas how we can prevent this from happening again??

Apart from better locks etc. not really any good ideas. Putting uo a security camera seems OTT - may be a cheap alarm on the door to the pump room - it may be enough to discourage him, he probably won’t want the attention.

Sorry for your misfortune but at least it has made me aware!

Thanks,  We have a new lock and we are goin out there in 3 weeks to see what we can do, our pool guy has sorted things for now. spose it could of been worse but hope this makes everyone think about security while your not there. My problem is i trust too many people, thinking things like that dont really happen but they do unfortunatly.

Hasn’t put me off though. still love the place and cant wait to get back over there and move over full time.  😊

Hi.
Maplin do a range of very low cost self fit alarms.
I had one fitted to my garage door in the UK.
The siren fitted was absolutely ear shattering…good deterrent!

Worth a look if nothing else!
