I’m a US citizen…my reason for moving there is to marry my fianc?e…who is an Ecuadoriana that lives and works in spain (legally)...
I have looked through the article about getting married in Spain for non EU citizen…but by the time I found this info (and proposed) I only had 1 month left to stay on my tourist visa. (talk about not doing your homework).
When I was there I played Baseball (preaseason) with a professional team (one of only 8 Pro teams in Spain) which went great…I might have a pro contract in February (not much, room and board at best)... However the manager said he didn’t want to make any promises…so I figure I may be wasting time putting eggs in that basket…
and besides my main focus is my fianc?e…and since a K1 visa (for her to come to the states) is about a 4-9 month wait…I’m searching for anything that might get me back with her faster…
Sorry for so much unneeded information…but this is all I can think about right now…I had no clue being separated would be so tough…but rather than be negative I’m trying to be constructive…and explore all my options…
