HI everyone I was wondering if someone bought there own land, then what is the law regarding putting a static mobile home on it instead of a house, in southern Spain ????
I dont think you would have a problem. The problems come if you attempt to put any permanent structure (see my posting ref Wooden houses in this section) on the land if it is classified for agriculture use only. Remember land without planning permission has a very low value and wont increase so you might have a problem selling it on. Also you probably will not have electricity supply to the land and probably no chance of having it connected. You would also need to check the water supply situation as well! If you rent the land (maybe also if you buy the same applies) you might inherit obligations to maintain any trees or vines etc. Good luck.
