Hello,

Is someone able to explain how the pension works in Spain? I read recently that you have to work at least 25 years to qualify (gone up from 15 years)

I’ve been working 10 years in Spain (as a foreign resident), so if I was to retire now, was at the correct age etc etc I wouldn’t get 1 cent?

Thanks

You may be entitled to a Spanish pension if you have worked just one year
in Spain, providing you have worked a total of at least 15 years in the EEA.
