Where are some places you would recommend to live in Barcelona?  I am thinking of moving to Sarria because I like the “village” feel it has to it, plus it is quiet for the most part.

Forget the idea of “village” in spain.  After the european union pumped money into the country and the private investors took over the entire country is just a bunch of apartment buildings or ruins.  I was amazed to visit “villages” just to find a bunch of apartment buildings in the middle of a desert.  Also the laws do not allow the construction of land with less than 10 homes.  That is why you find the bizare apartment building out in the middle of nowhere.  You best bet stick to the main town centers, also out in the “country” is where there thieves either target, or go to live.
