Hello all!

Been reading through the site pretty religiously for the past week or two now, steeling my resolve and getting things in place to move on out to Barcelona come next summer. I’ve gotta say, this site has been simply amazing for making what started out as a pipe dream into something that truly seems concrete and possible. I have a feeling I’ll be posting on here quite a bit over the next while, so, figured I oughta say Hi and introduce myself 😊

I’m a late 20s computer tech/network engineer/all around geek from the midwestern US (Kansas City), and getting increasingly tired of the immense boredom that is the Midwest. Or most of the rest of the US, for that matter. I’ve always wanted to see Europe and live there for a while (cause let’s face it, being a tourist is nowhere near as worthwhile as living somewhere) and figure now’s the chance to do so before I’m too settled down and stuck in my ways to really get out there and have some adventure.

Now if only I can survive the next several months, dreaming of the Med as I stare out the window 😉

Answer: as of yet, I haven’t; and I’m learning 😊

I’ve been poking around a few job websites for the moment (don’t have have the links offhand, but I can get em to ya when I get home), but if those don’t pan out, I figure I’ll start off doing some English teaching while I look for a job in my field.
