Hi I’m 24 and am planning to move to Spain at the beginning of December with my little doggy. My mum has already bought a house in the Valencia region so I will be staying with her until I can find my own place, I can’t believe I’m actually doing it pretty much on my own but I’m so excited about it. The only thing I am dreading is having to meet people and make new friends my Spanish isn’t great and where I will be living is a Spanish village but the offer free Spanish classes in the community hall so that should be something. I have included a picture of the house I will be living in. Only 5 weeks left of work yay.

Well that is me and Amelie’s flights and trains all booked so we are leaving Glasgow on the 3rd December for Gatwick where we will fly from into Alicante and will arrive there at 11am local time it’s weird now I have packed everything my mum is going with a van next week and taking the stuff I want to keep with her so my house is going to be pretty much empty. I guess now everything is booked I feel less stressed than I did before the only think I have left is to get Amelie’s carry case which I’m going to order at the end of the month to give her time to get used to it.

I’m sure Amelie will be alot happier over there with lots of land to run about in and not being stuck indoors she likes to play and she will have so much space in my mums land hopefully once I’ve been there a while I should be able to get a nice piece of land and get a wooden house put on it. I can’t wait to get over at least I know I don’t have too long left here.

Hi Lisa

If you look on the net there is a fb site with loads of free stuff to learn Spanish http://www.studyspanish.com  I teach Spanish part time and have used loads of these for my lessons.  Good luck with the move
