The whole point of this would be, that people are able to find one another… Say, i am going to the south of Spain for a holiday, i look at the map and ask someone close to where i am going about the place/if they fancy a beer/sites to see…

Or, if I come to this site because i want to know about the place i am going to move, etc…

could anyone offer any help whatsoever i move to spain on sat10 october originally i was moving in with a friend but he now met a girl and doesnot want to know…. has any one got either a room to rent or a job vacanacy im can turn my hand to most things.. also gonna be flying in to alicante, gonna buy a TENT and maybe camp does anyone have a bit of spare land i could pitch my tent on. or could they give me any information on cheap campsite any help what soever i would be very grateful thanks. shaun

In locutorios (internetcafe) you will ussually find ads posted from people looking for roommates.
As for the tent: sure why not, it?s always good to have something to fall back on.
