I am a nonEU resident and just got here in Spain last week. I obtained my temporary residence and working visa through a sponsor (I was directly hired by my employer). As a legal procedure, my employer needs to sign and pay for my TASA and apply a Seguridad Social for me. Unfotunately, when I arrived, my employer didn’t want to hire me anymore. What will I do? My visa will expire this coming May and I don’t want to be an illegal alien here in Spain.

Is it possible for me to find another employer and arrange my documents without me returning in my home country?
PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!

If someone knows a good lawyer please let me know..thanks!

How was your employer unable to inform you of not wanting to hire you before you arrived in Spain? I find that very odd. One would think an employer would tell you before you arrived.
Is the reason they dont want to hire you because of this TASA and social security issue?

I entered Spain before as a tourist and worked “under the table” for my employer until she decided to arrange my papers. As a normal procedure, I will go back to my home country to pick up the visa and it lasted for 2 months. During those times, she hired another person to fill my place and now that I am here, she is hesitant to sign my TASA and apply for my SSS. I was suprised and found it very unfair because when we talked about this, she was giving me a lot of out of this world reasons why she doesn’t want to hire me anymore. She should tell me earlier as a respect. When she decided to arrange my papers, She let me clean her house and 2 daycare schools! I worked so hard and patiently waited, I even spend a lot of money for all the expenses needed for the papers and now that she found another person to work for her, she will just dump me?!

I will not give up to look for a legal assistance about my case.
Thank God for this forum and i hope that what I share in this forum will be helpful to others.
