Hi

I am currently working as a manager for a large DIY chain in England.

I’ve only been to Spain ONCE and absolutely loved it. I was holidaying in Fuengirola and loved the place. The little village of Mijas was stunning and Marbella wasn’t too bad either. Would love to work and live in Spain permanently. Big disadvantage of course is that my Spanish is almost non-existant so I am hoping start learning Spainish shortly.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on these forums and who knows perhaps one day I can get that dream job.  😉

Thanks for the reply.

My current course of action is to go on a few 1 week package deals down there during the year to see if attaining a reasonable job and long term rent is plausable.

I do intend to learn Spanish as soon as I can fit it in. :D

will i was like you years ago with 1 - 2 week package holidays and one year i booked flights and looked for cheap hotels but stayed inland and away from the english holiday makers , i made so many new spanish freinds , now if you got me on a package holiday wont be in spain. Buy your self a Spanish Phrases book and pick up few Phrases and that bring you a long way

if if sun by the sea then go for Santa pola he the link to it . http://www.alicante-spain.com/santa-pola.html

Thanks again mate.

I intend to look for work, even if it is inland during the mornings and early afternoons. Then treat the rest of the day as the holiday :D

However I am only interested in the Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmedena area.
