First of all hello everyone!

I’ve been lurking around this forum for a while and finally decided to register.

So..

I am looking for rural land i Granada. It has to be large enough 5ha atleast. What im trying to do is to build an ECO-get-away. For me and mine. So green buildings and off-the-grid lifestyle in general is what i am looking for.

First of all as i understand it you cant build a normal house on only 5ha but you can build an agricultural building. What is an agricultural building. Can it be built like a livable house ? What are the size limits etc.. This will all be on agricultural land.

Any links (english) you can give me about laws & regulations in Granada would be great! Or any general info (can’t find much on the www)!

And second is now the best time to buy ? Or should i hurry. I understand rural land is hard to find and may become more popular in harsh times we’re all facing. The Spanish building bubble is busted so prices should be going down. Followed by the whole world economys instability and likely collapse 😉. My main concern right now is finding land that’s the right size (atleast 5ha). Will i be able to find plots like today two years from now ?..

Anyway that’s all i can think of right now so more questions as the thread continues. Im sure some of you can help a fellow out ? Seeing so many (allready) locals and real estate specialists here..

Thank you for this wonderful forum!
