I am a uk resident(non-Eu),my wife is spanish.we got married in uk in 2006.We had our son in spain last year.My son is spanish too.We did not register our marriage at the spanish embassy and so we have no family book in uk,but we got one for the birth of our son in spain .

My wife and i now wish to live in spain,my son and wife are in spain now.i have been to spain several times on visa from french and spanish embassy.My last visa expired two weeks ago.is there anyway of apply for residency in spain.i am scared of apply from here because i do not have my wife passport/ID and family book.The last time i applied i had her passport but no family book.What do u advise?

i have a few question, can my wife apply for me or do i have to apply myself ?or can i apply through say you ,a lawyer,my wife does not understand how to get ?Register certificate(certificado de empadronamiento? issued by the Town Hall where you want to live)she says i have to be in spain to apply.is this true?We need help thanks
