Hi there:  My partner and I are planning to relocate to Murcia sometime next year.  We’ve bought a house off-plan which should be ready early 2009.  He’s a golf professional with 30+ years experience and is looking for a job in the region.  Do you know whether English professional’s are employed in Spain or are those sorts of jobs strictly for the Spanish?
He is very fit and active and is keen to carry on as a teaching professional.

Great site by the way - I only found out about it 2 days ago!!

Hi, you might want to get in touch with Polaris World which is a huge new golf/residential development in Murcia.  I know from experience in the tourism sector that any qualified English speaking person will always find jobs easily on Spain’s coasts.  However, knowledge of Spanish comes in handy, even if just on a basic level.  Try infojobs.com

Hi Ruby995

Thanks for the info.  We’re actually going living on a Polaris site, so have sent CV to them.  However, will try again as I believe the Spanish are notorious for not rushing to reply!!    I can get by with my Spanish and my partner is learning as we speak!
Thanks again.

Yes - I used to know an English golf pro working in Spain, I think he is working at Alenda (Alicante) now. But I agree get as much Spanish as you can it will certainly help.
