Hi there my son went to Playa Famenca school at the end of last year for about 12 weeks, to be honest I did not like the school particularly, my son however liked it alot as the majority of children in his class were english, we struggled to get him into the school because of the numbers, another school that alot of english children around Playa Flamenca go to is Los Dolses in Villa Martin, but if I had to choose again I would move nearer San Miguel as this is apparently a very good school.  Mt son is now in a school in Guardamar which he loves but there are only 2 other english children in his class, this suits us though because he mixes really well with spanish children and speaks the language really really well.

hi tina, we worried about work, my husband got work pretty much straight away but it is tough for some people, you have to be prepared to take any work and speaking spanish is obviously a big advantage even though my husband doesnt.  We started off living near playa flamenca there are plenty of expats.  If you have any questions pm me, I only moved here myself in September but will help you anyway i can
