I have recently paid the Car Road Tax on my Spanish car by Direct Debit from my bank. I have a receipt from the bank as proof of having paid but no paperwork from the Ayuntamiento.

Is this normal or should I approach the town hall for more paperwork.

No proof of payment from the bank is all you get.
