Hello.  I am from Manila, Philippines and I am seeking advice regarding the actual waiting time for a work permit to be issued.

I was given possible employment by an established European immigration and job agency sometime September, 2007 and I am still waiting for the Oficinas de Extranjero in Valencia to respond.

I am feeling downhearted and discouraged right now but I am someone who does not give up easily.

The same situation also surrounds my wife. 

Both of us have been actually placed with a Spanish employer but the waiting time for our work permits to arrive is killing us already.

I searched several web sites regarding this and from what I understood, this procedure usually takes about a year to finish.

I am now taking this opportunity to direct my inquiry to any Spaniard who is knowledgeable in this area.

Established European immigration and job agency , just make sure that not a scam as there lot out there ofter job in Eu but looking for Money upfront two get you Visa and Papers sorted out for you
why have you got in touch with the Oficinas de Extranjero in Valencia still waiting for them to respond. ?
could you be more clear on what is happen so we can look up whats happen

They were able to help many non-EU nationals get work abroad.

In fact, I even read some messages on forums regarding this and they were really hired by a European employer/s and are having a wonderful time there.

I just wanted to know how long does it really take to accomplish Spanish work permit application.

I hope you could give me some advice on this matter.
