Hi. My hubby & I moved over here (Terque, Almeria) in late March and we are loving it! Everyone is so very helpful and kind to us. They think were mad as we ride our bikes along the road to the local villages in our tee-shirts & shorts and they still think it’s winter!  Anyway, I was looking for a bit of advice - we are looking to take out TRAVEL INSURANCE for our trips back to the UK to see the family.  Has anyone had any dealings with any of the Expat Insurance companies? Anyone know or a good one to use??
Kind Regards
😊

Hi
If you are of pensionable age you will get free medical cover in the UK if you go to the place where you registered your E109, take your Tarjeta de Sanitaria and they will issue you with a yearly card to cover you back in the UK.
If you are under pensionable age you will have to fork out for medical cover, we have an annual multi trip insurance with alc, the website is http://www.alctravel.eu or www.alchealth.com, we buy this yearly through our local Insurance Agents (on the CdS) and pay 158 euros per annum for both of us(we are mid/ late 50’s). Hope this helps
