we are in the near future taking a discovery tour with the above firm to show us property around the almeria area .can anybody shed any light on this company all comments will be welcome

Amber Sun are a large property selling agent, much like the many others who operate out in Spain. When out there you will see cars and mini buses with their sign on the side running groups around showing the customers what they have for sale.

My advice is to be very careful and take your time, do not be pressured into buying, the market as it is at present is a buyers market with lots of empty properties all waiting new owners with money. Ensure that you are being taken to property which satisfies your wish list and not their wish list.

thank you i have just returned and everything was o.k. no hard sell just long and dusty days.need to return as you have mentioned it is a buyers market but unfortunately i did not get to see any of that many thanks again. have you any good websites of good agents in the almeria area that i could look at and get an idea of the prices i have just got a copy of the costa blanca news so i will have a look at that

Almeria has a spread of types of property and styles of living, I would sggest that you research the area first buy a map and pin it on the wall and breakdown the areas you like and those you dont, whaveen you have marked up map start and breakdown even further until you have information in plenty of the area you like best, then start to find the agents who operate in that area, it is better than wasting time and collecting house details you do not want. If you saw something you liked, then ask the forums for information on the development and you will get detail from those who have bought already or those who live in the area.
