Hi all,

We are going to be coming to Spain early next year for a 6 - 9 month trial run before deciding whether to make the move permanant. Having looked at rental villas etc.. we suddenly remember my Grandad owns a flat at Javea Park and he has kindly offered it to us rent free (see it’s not what you know it’s who you know!!)

My only concern is that I think it is on a small complex and I didn;t know if dogs are permitted. We have a Cavalier Kings Charles Spaniel who we could not leave behind.

Does anyone know anything about Javea Park and what the restrictions are, if any, re pets? My Grandad is going to dig through his paperwork but that could take forever!

I really look forward to hearing your resonses as this would solve all our problems and help us decide which way to go forward.

shipping you pet to spain you need to get to the vet and get his shots for what i can rember for outher pages here think you should ring up and fine out , best think

We are going through the same process, moving to Javea in Jan but with a cat as it happens!  You need to get behind the rabies shots and pet passport asap, you wont need it to move your dog in to Spain but if anything happens and you need/want to return earlier than planned, you can’t bring him back in to the UK for 6 months after the blood test (I think its the blood test date that’s critical, check with you vet).  So if you are moving earlier in the year do check it out soon!
