Hi everyone.  Can anyone recommend a solicitor in the San Pedro del Pinatar or Alcazares region.  Preferably one who has knowledge of dealing with Polaris World contracts.  It would also be useful if they spoke English or had staff who spoke English.  Bought a property on Mar Menor Golf Resort ll and will be going over there in October and would like to make an appointment with a solicitor at that time.  E-mail address would be useful if possible.

Many thanks

Hi Mercedes,
I do not have anyone to recommend (but hope that other members might?).
Just writing a word of warning (as you seem sensible enough to check out the ‘validity/honesty’ of a solicitor in advance of making any legal commitments) -
Like anywhere, there are good and bad.  I sought advice from the British Consulate (they have a list online) - but this is still no guarantee! (Although they will remove any ‘bad ones’ from the list if they get a complaint).

Good luck in your search. I have just had to trawl through several to find one half decent to represent me in an injuries claim.

Try ‘spanishlawyer’ - he is over that way and seems to have good ideas/contacts?

All the best,
SJ

Thanks SJ for the reply.  Have had experience of solicitors in this country!!  Perhaps that’s why I’m being so cautious!
Have been recommended someone in San Javier and plan to contact them.  It’s the luck of the draw I think.

Thanks again.
