Hello, I wonder if anyone out there can answer a tax question for me. We are considering moving to Spain in spring and am trying to work out a budget, but am not sure how much tax we will need to pay. My husband is employed by a Hong Kong company on a contract, but can work anywhere in the world. Can he set up as self employed? If so, what would be the tax rate he would have to pay? If not, what are the options. And one other question that may be a bit of a big ask, but can anyone give me an idea of the cost of living (Catalonia). A rough idea of food bill for a family of four, or household costs. Again, I know that’s a how long is apiece of string question, but a rough minimum would really help. Much appreciated.
