Hi all,

I am an American who has been approved for residency and am waiting to receive my card.  Because I don’t have a card, I applied for and received an authorization for reentry (I’m visiting the states this summer and to be able to reenter Spain I need this authorization, because otherwise I look like a visa overstay).

My question is this: once I get my residency card, will I be able to travel freely?  As in without asking permission to leave and reenter the country?  I forgot to ask at the office for extranjeros and you all know how bad they are about answering the phone!
