Although we now live in Andalucia, both of our little babies were born in Barcelona. We had excellent care, however, just make sure you stand your ground when it comes to the delivery. They are more than happy to get you to have a C-section. We were actually contacted just prior to my youngest daughter?s due date, confirming our attendance at the hospital for her delivery!!! She came early anyway, but had to be induced with my son two and half years ago, little bugger kept turning around, but had natural delivery in the end. And the other thing is, they have a want to take your babies away after the birth for a fairly long period of time, weighing, checking all OK, etc, and sometimes they give them a bottle, which is great if thats what you want, but I wanted mine with me to breast feed, and they sometimes find that a little odd!!! Having said all this, had my two eldest children in the UK and giving birth here was luxury!!! Hope all goes well with you and if I can help in any other way, just yell!!!
