The site was conceived from our own experiences, as ex pats from the UK living in Mallorca. We found it increasingly difficult to find services or suppliers in our area and got fed up with searching for them. Although many people would offer details of those they had used or heard about, often these were miles away from us and a pain to travel to, every time we needed something.
We then found that the language barrier was one contributory reason but the others were, that the businesses were not prepared to pay the extortionate costs of advertising and that even the ?locals? were not aware of local businesses.
This is where Findit F?ME comes in.
1, Even a sole trader, looking for a start, can afford to advertise on the site.
2, Any business, that?s in a hard to find situation, can be found.
3, The business can let the user know what languages they speak, so the user knows there will not be a language problem.
4, All information about the business can be added in 8 languages, making it easier for the user.
5, Full contact details are available immediately, not forcing the user to go through the website system before they can contact the business.
6, The business can show either the area they cover or their exact address, with a map, so that the user knows before contacting the business.
7, Users can leave remarks about the business they have used, to give other potential customers an insight into the business and giving them more peace of mind, to use a business for the first time. This system has been designed to protect the business and the user from false remarks. We are working with bodies that are designed to help the end user.
8, Findit F?ME will not have third party advertising, to subsidies? it. Only advertisers who have registered their adverts will be seen on the site.
9, We are working on an addition to the website, where, any business who would like their own website but don?t want the hassle of owning one, can make a ?Mini Site?, with the aid of an easy to use menu system, within http://www.finditfme.com.
10, Never will you see the words ?Sorry, we don?t have any result for your search? or anything like that. Our system will only show the businesses who are available, dependant on your search criteria. Nothing more and nothing less.
Ok, so now you know what we have designed and built, for businesses and those looking for them. Now it?s up to potential businesses and potential users to fill and use the site.
