Regarding payment for the Certificate of Registration - someone (cant find their post now) was asking the form number which is required to make the payment of 6.70 euros (same amount as for the Spanish for their ID card) it is a form 790

It is NOT downloadable (probably I think because it is a multipart job) it is only available from the office where you make your application.

However you should not have to queue just to obtain the form.

can anyone help with this quetion. the new residencia paper….if you have this residencia paper can it be used when you sell a house to qualify for less tax to pay? /ie…if you are residencia you dont have to pay the 18% tax on profit?  is this the residencia document ? thanks

As far as I am aware there isn’t any other residencia document. I would imagine you would also need your NIE.

You only qualify for any tax reductions by being fiscally resident ie you pay taxes and make a declaration in Spain in addition of course you will need NIE and residencia.

Capital gains tax is based upon the profit that you made and not just the sales price.

Not many people are making a profit at the moment!
