For Sale: An Internet Cafe in sunny Galicia in Spain

Firstly, let me say how saddened we are that we can’t continue this business, unfortunately health issues have forced us to move back to the UK - this is the genuine reason for the sale.

Our Internet Cafe is based in the thriving town of Lalin, the town is well populated and there is a big demand for games and a cool internet cafe, which we have created. Our Internet cafe is situated in a shopping center near the main school in Lalin & has been welcomed by the kids.

The internet cafe itself has 17 computers for use including a seperate reception computer, the specs of the computers are as follows:

Pentium 4 - 2.4ghz CPUs

768 RAM (DDR)

40gb Hard Drives

19” Monitors (yes big and loved by the kids!)

Webcams

Headsets

Small form factor, smaller PSU thus less electricity usage!

Another bonus is space on the end of the tables currently used as study room can be used to add another 4 computers at your leisure! alternatively you are able to use these spaces as room for wireless laptop connections to gain extra profit from empty space!

All the computers are cabled together (cat5) to the main server, this also acts as the reception PC. All PC’s are fully licensed and have legitimate certificates and software. They are loaded with STEAM for cyber cafes, open office, quake 3 demo, warsow & ut demo, STEAM for cyber cafes has well over 70 games included. The most popular game Counter-Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero are included in this package, these are well loved by the local kids. The Internet cafe software used is Cafezee, very easy to use and needs minimal administration.

The computers are partitioned by dividers, the users prefer the privacy to be kept when using the machines so this was included. Currently the Internet connection is 3mb from telefonica, however recently cable has been introduced and can be easy changed to a greater bandwidth, although 3mb running through the switch is more than adequate.

The internet cafe is solely computers, it is aimed at the younger audience hence the inclusion of STEAM for cyber cafes, which is the defining feature of any busy internet cafe. Unfortunately we do not have figures for the sale as we’ve only been open a few weeks, but there is great interest (especially the weekends) and it has been known that kids skive off on there lunch to come play our games!

There are minimal outgoings, they are electricity, water (we have both male and female toilets), internet and the shop rental (very fair price).

Here is a break down of outgoings:

Council Tax per annum (170? [PAID until next JUNE])

20 Steam licenses (436? quarterly [PAID until SEPT)

Rental (420? per month, amazing property!)

Software licensing (well over 2000? [PAID])

Internet+Phone (60? per month, however internet is paid until SEPT)

Water (30? per quarter)

Electric (120? per quarter MAXIMUM).

Most importantly with all foreign sales there is NO business debt!

We are looking for a quick sale and are looking for offers in the region of ?15,000 the property has been kitted out with new lighting, vent system and has been newly decorated. The tables cost well over 1000? to be made, this is a bargain and a great chance for someone to run a business in sunny spain. The area is rapidly growing and the amount of kids coming to the area is continually growing. There are no restrictions on opening times, if you want you can enjoy all nighters with the kids who play games! The setup would enable a non technically minded person to take this over, however, it could be taken over by a technically minded person and easily upgraded!
