In an earlier post, I mentioned that I wanted to enter a civil partnership with my Spanish partner in Spain (Madrid). I read on lots of websites   about what documents are needed which I’m clear about. However, what I’m not clear about is whether we need to publish our intent to enter a civil partnership in the newspaper or not. I can understand that this is what we would have to do if we were getting married, but don’t see the necessity for a civil partnership.
I hope somebody can help me on this and my earlier post.
