I believe we’ve almost got a property in the village of Feria - and will be coming over in October to pay for it.  What I’ve learned from running around on the forum in the past few days, is that it seems very similar to France as far as living in Spain is concerned.  Pro’s and Con’s, perks and things to watch out for.

If I buy a house in outright cash in Spain, what documentatio0n would be required if any?  Having been in Charity work for over ten years I don’t have any proof of income as I didnt get any (until about a year ago I was one of the Directors of the Charity, but gave up my seat as I wasn’t really putting anything into the Board meetings etc…and decisions were being made without my knowledge anyway!)  It was and still is until I leave India, purely voluntary.  I’ve read that proof of income is required of course if you intend taking out a mortgage - but what happens if I pay cash?  There will no doubt be other questions, and please excuse me if I’ve posted in the wrong place mods, but this aging lady can’t find the correct place to put it!
