We hope to be able to open a cafebar/retail giftshop when we move any ideas about this/advice is most welcome 😊
I know of 3 bars in central locations that are doing a “transpaso” That is where they sell you the bar complete, but you still have to pay the rent. For bars with many years it could be small like 500 euros a month. But the costs and permits to open a new place in spain are significant. We are going to open a cafe also latter this year. It pays to buy someone out. Even the electricity requires a “project”. Don?t be deceived in Spain. They are crazy about paperwork. Many british make the mistake about renting a place and putting a business. It is not like britian or the US. To get a “transpaso” will cost you between 40 to 120 K euros. Probably average about 80K euros. Comes with all furnature, permits, machines, etc.
