Hi there Everyone,

We are a Scottish family going out to view property in Salobre,outside Playa de Ingles in Gran Canaria.We were wondering if anyone had any local information on the area or any other desirable areas to live in Gran Canaria.My oh works in Iraq so would need to a safe residential area as it would be mostly for myself and our 2 young daughters living there?

We are also looking to purchase a car if anyone has any advice or addresses?

Also, does anyone have any knowledge regarding the British school on the island?
