Hello!

    I’m a college student in Maryland. Me and my girlfriend would like to leave the US within 4 years and move to a small apartment in a suburban part of Spain. I’m currently trying to plan as far ahead, so I can start saving for the move.
 
  The move would be permanent, and we’d be bringing a minimal amount of luggage (no furniture, biggest thing being a bass guitar amplifier). I’m fairly good with casual spanish, and I’m continuing to improve my skills while working at a restaurant with hispanic friends.

    Im sorta unsure of by what means of income I’d be able to find in Spain, but I’d have plenty of money saved by then, and I’d sell my car before leaving the US. So I’d at least have money to spend before finding a job. I have plenty of experience in the restaurant industry, and would have my bachelors degree in astronomy by then. So yeahhh… I duno

    Does anyone know which part of Spain would best suit my needs? And what industry I could potentially find work in? (i didnt know what forum topic to post under)
