Hi everyone,

We are looking to move to Spain by January 2008 and we need to be around the area of Iznajar, Cordoba.
The problem we have is internet access - I need this to continue my work whilst in Spain. It would appear that access is very hard to come by in remote rural areas…...................I have been using my phone as a moden - but this is so expensive!!

We are looking for a long let 20 mins drive around the area -  Preferably a 3 bedroomed house with plenty outdoor space in the campo (we have a dog) and she requires this!!

Please let us know if you are aware of any properties available.

Cheers all

Yvonne 😊

Hi,
Internet access in rural areas is a problem here in Spain, some places has landlines some has not. Sometimes there is a wireless network ( as there i live) and sometimes not. But if you are looking for a long term let, do not let it from abroad. It is very easy to get fooled ending up with a flat you don’t like in an area you dislike.
The best thing to do is to book a cheap hostel for some days, maybe a week and then look for your self. Just drive or walk round in the areas that you think is of interest and look for signs “se aquila” and of course look in the local newspapers. You can also use the local real estate companies, but then you have to be prepared to pay a commission.

Best regards from a sunny Spain
Jonny
