Authentic, non-touristy specialty Catalan, or other Spanish cuisine for under $10E in Barcelona?

I’m looking for a list of recommended restaurants, cafes, hole in the walls, and tapas bars serving authentic, specialty cuisine for a low, reasonable price.  10Euro is the cut off price.  Remember, I’m not including drinks. 10Euro just for appetizers, entrees, and/or deserts.  OK, where are these probably extreamly popular restaurants, and what dishes do you recommend? Thanks in advane for your suggestions.

It should be dead easy to eat for under 10 euros in most areas at lunch time if you go for the menu del dia, but pretty difficult in the evening, when you may be better placed to concentrate on tapas and raciones than a 3 course meal if you’re low on cash.  Gracia and Poble Nou are good for cheap, authentic neighbourhood restaurants, as are all the outlying and working-class areas (so that rules out much of the Eixample).  Avoid the Bari Gotic and the fishy places in Barceloneta, where prices are sometimes very high, but the former has good tapas places.  Try Euskal Etxea near the Picasso Museum - a Basque place where you help yourself to tapas and collect toothpicks to add up what you owe - if it’s still there.  Bar Celta on Merce is good, especially if you like octopus.  There are great places to eat cheaply in and immediately around the main markets - the Boqueria is the biggest and most famous but there are others around the city.
