Hi there,

I am british but have lived in mexico for the last 2 years.  I am planning on moving to spain to live with my family who are residents there in February and to have my baby there. I am not a spanish resident yet, but i do have an NIE number. When I arrive in Spain I will get my residency.

Does anyone know if I would be entitled to have my baby in a hospital free in spain??

Or is private healthcare expensive in Spain, roughly how much would I expect to pay for a normal natural birth?
