Hi everyone,
We have been paying the relevant social security for the past 4 months as we are self employed.  We pay 250 euros a month.  This covers myself, wife and four children.  We have been told that after paying it for 6 months we will be entitled to claim child benefit as we have more than four children.  Does anyone know how much we can claim and is it paid monthly etc. 

Our child benefit in the UK stopped the day we moved out here which I think is terrible as we have paid into the system for 34 years.  I wrongly assumed we would be able to still get it but this is not the case which is why is was rather nice to hear we could claim it here.  If anyone can advise me I would really appreciate it.
