Just discovered my wife is pregnant and wondered if the option of giving birth through a midwive is possible here? We had our last child at home with a midwife but that was in the USA.
Any advice is appreciated.
thanks

Can I offer congratulations yet?

I’ve definitely heard of midwives in Spain - beyond that I can’t offer anything specific.

I have done much research on this subject but only for Mallorca, where I was only able to find two. There are “comadrona” organizations in Spain though and you can easily find them if you google comadrona + the city/area you’re moving to. Of course, all info will be in Spanish.
Congratulations and best of luck!
