Hi Everyone ... Although a frequent “poster” or “poser” on other forums (more local to the Canary Islands) I am only just coming online here. I have lived in Lanzarote for a few years now having opened up my own bar, I have now set up a new company here to assist anyone that wishes to move over and open their own business on Lanzarote and Fuerteventura (more about that in business services section).
I love living abroad, speak enough Spanish to get me past everyday life and sometimes more, I’m 32 years old and have a good relationship, lovely villa and a couple of dogs. I’m a talker (been a barman for too long) and so if anyone wants to ask a question you will usually get a long winded answer from me!
But seriously it is very daunting when you first consider to leave the UK and all of the home comforts that you get there (like Tescos or Asda) but when the sun is shining and you are strolling early evening in the warm breeze then who cares that you can’t buy branston in the nearest supermarket!
If anyone wants to move to the Canary Islands and has any questions then I will do my best to help with my own knowledge and living here can even find things out I don’t know yet ... I obviously can give much better advice on Lanzarote than the other islands but there are a lot of similarities and so don’t be afraid to ask!
