Can anyone reccomend the name of a driving school that teaches and organises your test in English? With my Spanish it would be impossible to pass except in English.

Thank you for your help Maria, I am trying to find a school like this in Mallorca, but if I cannot then I will have to go to Marbella for 3 weeks. I do not understand why the driver of a car needs to know the maximum width of a Guardia Civil van for carrying prisoners!! We love Spain and the Spanish values, but why make a drivers test unnecessarily complicated?

Hopefully, there must be some group trying to get some changes to this. It makes it very difficult for foreign residents from countries that cannot exchange their liscences. The result is thousands of foreign residents driving illegally in Spain.

thet shouldn?t. For many reasons, but also because tehy will go directly to jail if an accident gives a death.

I wonder how many of them know they will go to jail for this. Many have driven in all parts of the world for 20,30 or 40 years and consider the payment of the liscence just another tax.

Hi, did you get anywhere with this?  I have got the same problem and live in Mallorca.

Thanks.
