I?m a 37 year old, single, female, ex army, current extreme beauty makeover business owner who simply wants to work on or with boats/yachts, whether it be as a Business Development Manager (I have 12 years experience including Branch Manager and Brand Manager for Virgin), a hostess (I?m quirky, outgoing, professional and always happy to please) or boat maintenance bod (I?m good with a sponge and have an A level in polishing shiny handrails hehe).  My ex is a re-seller of boats so I have vague knowledge, although the sponge and polish is real enough.

I?m being proactive and have uploaded my details on http://www.crewfile.com, joined a number of recruiment agencies (thanks http://www.spainexpat.com) etc but I?m tenacious and impatient.  I want to live on the south coast, balearics, costas etc by the way.

Bearing in mind that I?ve travelled the world independently and make friends very easily, can you answer me this please?  Based on your experiences and the stories you will have heard from your friends should I?

1.  Jump on a plane and find work when I?m there?
2.  Use all the information you kindly send me (nudge, nudge) as well as my own applications and wait?

I WILL be using your comments to make my choice so thanks in advance if you?ve helped me. I mean it!  Oh and if you happen to be reading this on your superyacht and you?ve just discovered your new stewardess suffers with seasickness, please feel free to contact me.

Any local websites, local papers with websites, industry contacts, names and places of marinas etc would be beneficial to me also.  Thanks so much for reading this.  Hope to join you soon.

Warmest wishes
