Hi, my family and I recently moved to Denia and are in the process of trying to get a place at a school for our 5year old daughter to start in September. This is proving very difficult as there are no places available in any of the schools in Denia except for one which we have been told is not a desirable choice? We put her name down on the waiting list for the only spanish private school in Denia but it could take years to get her in. We thought maybe an alternative would be to place her in a local village school but we are not sure if this is possible and also we want her to learn in Spanish not Valenciano.
I am having 3 Spanish lessons a week but unfortunately my Spanish is still very poor as yet and we are struggling to make sense of it all. We have an English speaking lawyer to help us but she doesn?t know of any way round this so I?m hoping someone will be able to offer us some advice or help.
