Hi there,

Just progressing my ongoing school research and tried the website for Nabss - National Association of British Schools in Spain - but it seems to be down, all day so far… wondered if anyone knew of any reason for that?  I am sure I am worrying completely unneccessarily and its just a server error or something?

My husband has just told me that they are upgrading their website and have put up this screen so you can’t access the site at present.  Have no idea how
long it will take. Hope this helps.

Thanks Gina - it seemed odd for an organisation of that size to have just an error message showing!

Does your husband work for NABSS then…?

Hi again Cazz,  I have been reading some of your posts and and we both seem to be on the same agenda.  We went out to the Costa Blanca in February and
had a good look around and have decided on the area inland between Gandia and Xativa. After much deliberation and research we had decided on sending our son who is 8 to a local spanish
school so we can all intergrate as a family as we don’t want to be in a big expat area.  We have found a lovely town we like with good schools but our
son has now been assesed with Dyslexia and it has made me wonder whether it would be better to send him to an Interntional school initially.  He has struggled
at school here in a class of 30 and is now getting extra help and much more confident with his reading and writing.  I really want to do the best for him and
make the move as positive as possible.  Have you made any decisions on your schools that you visited?.  It’s just nice to have a chat with people in the same
situation. Hope all is going well with your research.
