HI All, My father was born in Spain, but is now an American citizen. I would like to look into getting a residency or second passport from Spain. My problem is I have an old criminal conviction from 20 years ago , and I did serve a few months in jail, when I was a young man of 21.( never in trouble since) Will this stop me from being able to get a dual passport or whatever I need to live and work in Spain?  Also how do I go about obtaining legal status in Spain through my fathers birth? Thank You (I am an American)
