Hi, pretty new to this forum, i’m moving to Barcelona on the 10th July, booked up ready to go, i’m getting the bus from Glasgow (scotland) to get a feel for the distance, and to give myself a couple of days to get my head together, i’m a 24 year old male and a fantastic bar tender and would quite happily do that in Barcelona, but will pretty much do anything to keep me there, i don’t have a clue what to do, speak little spanish and have a pretty tight budget!!!

This thread has helped a lot!! with great advice and i’m going to follow it like it’s the gospil, i’ll keep you updated with how it works out, if anyones interested ofcourse, but any further advice would be great and massivley welcomed, my plan so far is to get somewhere to stay, i’m going to try all the irish bars and british themed for work, untill i pick up the lingo then i’ll give myself more chance of getting into the better cocktail bars etc.

any advice on where to look for: work, flats to rent, meet people and basically anything thats going to help me settle in faster.
