hi all, after often reading through topics and useful information posted, I’ve eventually took the plunge and joined my very first forum.  now just got to work out how to use and get involved with discussions !!!!!!  😖

with retirement looming, we bought our property here in spain over 5 years ago to use for holidays but mainly to get a feel of whether this could be a place to settle when retired.  I had only been to spain once 25 years ago and that was just for one week hol, and my hubby had never set foot in spain, ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We have now been permanent residents here for just over 2 years so guess the spanish way of life and location ticked quite a few, although not all, of our requirement boxes which led us to decide to retire early, very early….................  time and quality of living becomes much more important than money it seems once you hit a certain age range   😊

best gift ever received was a cheap little fridge magnet with the words ” retirement is when you stop living at work and start working at living”  how right those words are ........

looking forward to at last being able to join in discussion and finding helpful information from you other users (once i get the hang of this forum thingy that is !!! )
