Hi everyone,

I just got accepted to do my masters in Spain. I am a dual citizen (United States and Dominican Republic) and my question is the following: would it be possible for me to apply for the student visa with my Dominican passport and enter Spain with my American passport? Classes start on September 15 and the earliest appointment I got was for September 11. On the New York Spanish consulate website it says that it might take up to 7 weeks to process the visa and I really don’t want to miss a month of classes.  So once the visa is processed, my parents could mail me the passport. Does anyone know how long the process usually takes? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
