Got a holiday home near Gandia - and although not IN Valencia try to live the Valencian lifestyle when we come over.  There used to be one or two forums for our area but somehow they don’t seem to be active any more. I think one was abused quite a bit with silly messages so closed down.  Shame - I’ve registered as a member of this forum now,  so any questions I might be able to answer them.

I’m thinking about starting one up, in your opinion do you think there is a large enough community to make use of such a forum?

I have an appartment in malverosa in valencia, I dont spend very long there but when I do I don’t often come across many english people! (some would say thats a good thing) 😉

Hi Brinny,

I think there would be a good response if you started one up.  We are moving out in February to Xativa and it would be nice to chat to people who are
living in this area or intending to move there,.
I know people are wary of the Expat label but it is nice to have the option of contacting like minded people if you wish to.  I came out on my own in February with very limited spanish for 4 days and had a fabulous time but it would have been nice to meet up for a coffee with someone for a chat about the area.
