Living on your money

We are Swiss and planning to retire to Spain.  We plan on living from our savings, and will not work.  What kind of taxes do we have to pay.

If you don’t own property and don’t make more than a certain amount a year, you don’t have to declare for taxes in Spain.

What is a certain amount you have to earn before you pay tax

Hi, thanks for the info.  But what’s the amount of income,  meaning living from your savings, not working and not been a homeowner in spain but a resident.

If you aren’t working and you don’t own a home then you don’t have to declare for taxes.
