Hello everybody,

We have been appointed an interview next week in Civil Registro after we submitted documents for the marriage. Could anyone tell what type of questions they may ask us? We heard questions may be tricky…. How long interview lasts?

Would apprecite your advice

Hi, the interview lasts about 5 minutes per person (bride, groom and witness).  You have to swear to tell the truth, and then they ask you if you’ve ever been married, if you plan to honor the vows of marriage and if you’re being coerced or threatened into marriage.  Pretty easy.

Thank for replying, Rubi. I am surprised since I thought we would go through the questions to prove we are not intended for fraud marriage. Also oficer who will make an interview didnt mention the witness, so i suppose it will be someone from civil registro, right? The only thing is that she didnt appoint any particular, only date,  saying that we get an ordinary ticket and stay in a que.
