I have purchased about 12 items to my little girl through a website in the states and shipped it to a friend that lives there to ship to me (as they will not ship to europe). I have asked my friends to ship it to me as a gift to my girl as she just had her birthday (which i can prove). Today i have recived a notification that the package is stuck in the airport for duty taxes. They would like me to fax them any internet or bank statment info for the goods in the package. which i have no problem doing. my only concern is that i never told my friend what value to put on the parcel and that i have asked her to put it as a gift. If i provide the correo with my invoice which was just a little over a $100 could i get myself in problems ?? after all i’m the purchaser of this package???? the package contains different girls clothing, no doubles all same size, so i’m not importing. would really like to hear from you/ thanks
