Hi everyone,
I’m hoping that someone could shed some light on my invoice/factura dilemma, I have been going back and forth with the employer for the past few days and will go insane soon unless I have some real info on how to go about getting paid…
I am a Dane living in Madrid temporarily, following my partner’s work-project here.
I work in design and am not registered as aut?nomo since it seems to make no sense to me for such a short period of time.
I have had two commission-projects in Madrid, both paying 800 euros each. The first company wanted me to write a factura with a larger amount brutto, MINUS the 15% I.R.P.F., ending with 800 euros to be paid.
The second company wants me to write 800 euros, MINUS the 15% I.R.P.F, ending with a smaller amount, and have rejected the invoice that was done the same way as for my first project.
Now, since I don’t want to be doing something completely illegal here, I contacted a lawyer who suggested that I instead write the company a “recib?” for the amount received (800 e).
The company is however telling me that they only want the factura ending with the smaller amount.
What AM I supposed to do? (yes, I KNOW I should’ve registered as aut?nomo…) And what can the company actually demand?
I hope I am making sense and I hope there is someone out there able to give me some advice!
Thank you,
Gabi
